Play Rules

Supervision

Our staff are only there to assist. Accompanying adults are solely responsible for supervision of their children while visiting Dreamland and must stay with them at all times. Please note for special school or group visits each child must have an individual carer. All our staff are first aid trained.

A ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children is required for large groups like Birthday parties. Adults must by 18 years and older.

We have a policy of No Children Without Adults, No Adults Without Children!

We want everyone to have a memorable experience during your visit to Dreamland. For the comfort and safety of all the children we have a few rules that we ask parents/guardians to abide by at all times.

  • It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to ensure that your children understand the rules or play.
  • Parents/guardians must supervise your children at all times.
  • No food or drink allowed in the play area due to health and safety reasons.
  • No running or dangerous play so that we can protect all our little visitors.
  • We ask that you do not remove any items from the play area and replace items in the different events as you go for the next family to enjoy the experience.
  • Children under the age of 4yrs are not allowed down the slide without a parent.
  • Our Party rooms are not for play and all props are only for display purposes and photo opportunities so we ask you respect this.
  • Swearing or inappropriate language are not permitted in Dreamland.

Any persons not adhering to these rules will be asked to leave the centre.

Volunteers
We rely on volunteers to create the magic at Share a dream and Dreamland. All our volunteers give their time voluntarily. Thus we ask you to respect them and the time they are giving to Dreamland.
Partnerships
We work with Mary Immaculate College, Limerick Institute of Technology and the University of Limerick. Students studying Early Childhood Care, Events Management etc undertake their placement in Dreamland.
Internships
Our international links means we now receive students from abroad. To date we have received students from such countries as France, Japan, Germany and Argentina.
